The challenge was designing an editor that provides a vanilla experience, making it unbranded yet easily adaptable to any channel where the content may be published.
Seamless UX vs. SEO
Through my work, I learned the critical importance of timing for breaking news, regarding time to publish (sometimes mere seconds). Seeing the rapid decision-making needed was eye-opening, particularly for early Google news indexing.

Image Repository with Face Recognition and a Built-in Cropper
In our search experience design, we considered that different people sometimes share the same name. We streamlined image selection based on the context of the article, and we integrated the function to tag images of the same person automatically.
One Article, One Image
Each article gets a unique image to ensure it remains distinct and visually relevant. We tagged images in the repository to help ensure that the same image is not used in multiple articles.
